Best essential oils for the spray

Peppermint – It is the cooling and soothing sensation of this essential oil that makes it a wonderful choice for the after-sun spray. Use a small amount of the oil if at all you have sensitive skin so it is less intense for you.
Tea tree essential oil is another oil suitable for the spray but it should also be used sparingly; you can also opt for frankincense.
Ingredients for the spray
10 drops pure peppermint essential oil
10 drops pure lavender essential oil
2 tablespoons of pure aloe Vera gel
½ cup of witch hazel
Spray bottle 4 oz. or larger
This is perhaps one of the easiest essential oil products you can make at home. Simply combine all the ingredients and make sure they are well mixed up before then pouring into spray bottle.
Directions of use
Shake the bottle well before every use and apply generously to the sun scotched skin to cool and soothe it. When spraying, be careful to avoid the eyes otherwise it will sting.
Allow it to dry. It may feel sticky, but this improves as it dries on the skin. You can reapply to the skin if you feel a need to.
